WE WON!!!
I am SO excited and grateful to share that The PedsDocTalk Podcast won TWO awards at the 5th Annual Signal Awards in the Family & Child-Raising category!
GOLD, awarded by the Signal Awards judging panel in recognition of the quality and impact of the show.
LISTENER'S CHOICE, voted on by YOU, our listeners, as the fan favorite in our category!
I am incredibly grateful to see this show recognized, especially because of what it represents.
To my knowledge, this is the first parenting podcast created by an Indian-American to win a podcast award, and the first podcast hosted by a pediatrician to win a Signal Award. That representation means so much to me.
I'm also proud that this recognition is going to a parenting podcast that doesn't shy away from the critical public health and social issues impacting children and families. We talk about parenting and child development, but we also make space for conversations about gun violence, healthcare, vaccines, inequities, education, and the issues shaping the world our children are growing up in.
These are conversations that aren't always easy or comfortable, and ones that don't always get the attention they deserve in the parenting podcast space. But I believe they belong here.
Because caring about children means caring about the world they are growing up in.
To have that work recognized by industry judges is an incredible honor. And to ALSO be chosen by the listeners who show up week after week? I can't tell you how much that means.
Remind them to download and subscribe wherever you access podcasts and watch our show on YouTube.
I'm so grateful to our guests, my incredible PedsDocTalk team, and every single person who listens, shares, and supports this show.
THANK YOU for helping make this possible.
A small way to support the show
I am so grateful that you continue to make space for these conversations. If the podcast has been helpful to you, leaving a review wherever you listen is one of the simplest ways to help more parents find the show.
And I always want to hear from you. Reply to this email and let me know what topics, questions, or conversations you would love to hear more about in future episodes.
